 About Us

For over 20 years, Scottfin Insurance Brokers has been recognised in the short-term insurance market as a brokerage of the highest standards and integrity, providing personal and professional service to its clients.

George Baikie and David Gould founded Scottfin in Scottburgh in 1994. Over the last 25 years, Scottfin has expanded to over 11 branches in 4 provinces.

Scottfin is South Africa’s leading independent insurance provider to the taxi industry, leading to our justifiable claim of being “the people’s broker”. Along with this, we have been recognised in the short-term insurance market as a brokerage of the highest standards and integrity, providing short-term and commercial insurance solutions to our clients.

With 30 years of business approaching quickly, we at Scottfin have recognised those that have partnered, grown and enabled us to become the brokerage we are today.

As such we are incorporating our past, current & future into a new, fresh, look and feel.

Our Partners
